  • Saint Edith Stein (+1942)
    was martyred in Auschwitz
  • Saint Catherine of Siena (+1380)
    helped the Papacy with her wisdom
  • Saint Bridget of Sweden (+1373)
    worked to bring the people of Northern Europe to Christ
  • Saint Benedict of Norcia (+547)
    is one of the true Father of Europe, for all that Benedictine monks brought to the continent
  • Saint Cyril (+867)
    translated the Bible for the Slavic people 
  • Saint Methodius (+c.884)
    proclaimed the faith in Eastern Europe
