The Bishops' Conference of Latvia

The Bishops' Conference of Latvia is the assembly of the bishops of Latvia. It exercises pastoral ministry for the sake of Christ's faithful by forms and means of apostolate suited to the circumstances of the particular time and place to promote, in accordance with the law, that greater good which the Church offers to all people.

The Bishops' Conference of Latvia was founded in 1997. There are four dioceses in The Bishops’ Conference of Latvia: the Archdiocese of Riga, the Diocese of Liepaja, the Diocese of Jelgava and the Diocese of Rezekne-Aglona.
