The Secretariat

The CCEE Secretariat is based in Sankt Gallen (Switzerland). The office is at the service of the members of the Plenary Assembly, the Presidency and the Presidents of the CCEE Commissions.

The Secretariat comprises a Secretary General, appointed by the Plenary Assembly for a renewable five-year mandate; a Vice Secretary General nominated by the Presidency; a Media Officer and staff members, two of whom are full-time, and the others part-time.

The Secretariat deals with the logistical arrangements for all the meetings organized by CCEE and is effectively a link between the Presidency and the various national Bishops’ Conferences.
