European Meeting on the occasion of the year of Mercy

Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, 15-18 September 2016

“It is my burning desire that, during this Jubilee, the Christian people may reflect on the corporal and spiritual works of mercy. It will be a way to reawaken our conscience, too often grown dull in the face of poverty. And let us enter more deeply into the heart of the Gospel where the poor have a special experience of God’s mercy” (Francis, Misericordiae Vultus, 15)

The meeting is organized by the CCEE Commission Caritas in veritate, led by H.E. Mgr. Giampaolo Crepaldi. The meeting will be organised in collaboration with the following bodies: Caritas Europa, COMECE, Justitia et Pax Europa, FEAMC (European Federation of the Catholic Medical Associations), ICMC (International Catholic Migration Commission), ICCPPC (International Commission of Catholic Prison Pastoral Care – European section), FEBA (European Federation of Food Banks), EZA (European Centre for Workers’ Questions), UNIAPAC (International Christian Union of Business Executives).
