From 23 – 27 May 2018, the eighth meeting of German and African bishops took place in the capital of Madagascar, Antananarivo. The main theme was The integral development of the human person. 16 German and African bishops took part in the meeting, along with a number of experts and priests, including the Deputy General Secretary of CCEE, Fr Martin Michalicek. The meeting was promoted by the German Bishops’ Conference (DBK) and the Symposium of Episcopal Conferences of Africa and Madagascar (SECAM).
